We are committed to training disciple makers, equipping them to gather people and then give them permission to start a community of faith with that group. We have helped start these church communities in Florida, Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana. This year, we plan to launch more in our region and beyond. We believe the harvest is plentiful and we continue to ask God for more workers.

This new opportunity came to us through the relationship with Fuente de Salvacion. The leaders of Fuente told us of another group meeting who was interested in working with Ignite after seeing what had happened in Albany Park. Neill Snyder and Lance met with them in June and they will begin worshipping as a group in a church that has been leased. 

This new church is reaching out to Spanish speakers in Grundy County, IL. Led by Todd and Tonja Hancock, Mosaico is a daughter of First Christian Church, Morris. It is also our initial endeavor of planting a church within a church. Mosaico is reaching people who have no relationship with Jesus or have drifted away from Jesus and his church. 

This new church for the Ecuadorian population on the north side of Chicago has been growing significantly. Since its first public service (April 2023 – when 80+ showed up to meet together), this church continues to reach more people. Currently led by Neill and Rosy Snyder, this church is reaching a people group that is growing in Chicagoland and continues to look for more ways to reach Chicago (more on this below).

We want to reach all people groups in our region. When asked by leaders at Suncrest Christian Church, St John, IN whether we would consider helping a church start in Gary, we determined a partnership with Flourish would help reach more people for Jesus. Led by Dexter Harris, Flourish is showing the love of Jesus to residents of Gary in tangible ways and is bringing people into the church community.

This campus of The Village CC in Minooka, IL is led by Mike Strunga as the campus pastor. Mike grew up in Joliet, IL and was a part of Crossroads Christian Church, which Ignite started in 2007. This campus is reaching over 200 each week in a town of 5,700. Ignite partnered with The Village to help this campus be started.

This church is led by James and Joy Shahabi and meets weekly at Journey Christian Church, Addison, IL which was started by Ignite in 2012. KM is bringing the message of Jesus to Farsi speakers in Chicagoland (there are 35,000 – 40,000 in this region) and is having influence around the world. Their ministry reaches to over 1,000 people weekly by their streamed services which are broadcast to 11 different countries. KM has also daughtered 6 in-person churches, one in Hungary, one in Toronto, Canada and 4 in Pakistan.

My name is Aaron!  I'm originally from Alhambra, IL.  After graduating from Highland High School, I attended Saint Louis Christian College where I received a Bachelors in Behavior Ministry (Christian Counseling) and Biblical Studies.  For two and a half years following my time in college, I served as the lead minister of Palmyra Christian Church.  While there, I married my high school sweetheart Allison and was approached by Ignite Church Planters about an opportunity to start a new Christian Church in my home community of Highland.  Feeling the Lord's call, Allison and I have embarked on a journey to form the community that is Restore!
